Do you sometimes feel stuck? You have that feeling that you need to make a change, but you just can't seem to take that first step? You tell yourself, when I finish this project or after this road trip, I'll get started with... or I just need to get this done and then I'll be able to focus on... But the project ends and there is another one waiting. Or the trip is over and before you know it, you are back on the road again. Another year passes and you still feel stuck.
Guess what! You are not alone. We all get stuck! Whether it’s in work, love, retirement, or any aspect of life, getting stuck is frustrating. Sometimes you may feel directionless for long periods of time. Or you just might need an extra push to get you where you want to go. Either way, here are some of my suggestions for getting unstuck and moving your life forward:
Did you know that your subconscious mind accepts as true the words you say? Those words attract corresponding events and situations into your life. By changing what you are telling yourself, you can change what you attract in life. So why not choose only positive statements, in order to get positive results?
Think about it. Many people repeat in their minds negative words and statements concerning themselves and the situations and events in their lives. Consequently, they create undesirable situations. But words work both ways, they can be used to build or they can be used to destroy. It is the way we use them that determines whether they are going to bring good or harmful results.
